Hutton le Hole - August 2026
Another great Bank Holiday weekend at Hutton le Hole. The weather forecast had not been good but it was wrong! - we enjoyed some lovely sunny days with only short showers and heavier rainfall during the evenings.
Gatherings took place on the field and then the hall was used for a social on Friday evening with an enjoyabe and popular singaround in the main hall and a group playing the domino game ‘chicken foot’ in the kitchen. Ceilidhs were held for the final 3 evenings with an enthusiastic band of musicians playing for some energetic dancing! - we did fit in Dorset Four Hand Reel.
The Sunday morning charity fundraising event took place in the sun on the field with campers generously purchasing cakes, books, jam jars and raffle tickets. The overall amount was a staggering £463, yes Four Hundred and Sixty Three Pounds. This was donated to support the work at St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds. Big thank you to everyone who contributed
