Ceilidh in Drax Village Hall on Saturday evening.  Possible meals available in social club.

MR 99/323702 BSB site 99/123.  From A61 Ripon bypass take B6265 east.  In 150 yards * take unclassified road south signed Littlethorpe.  After 250 yards turn left between bungalows.  Site in 100 yards.  From South leave A1(M) at Boroughbridge.  Take A168 north for 1.2 miles.  Turn left onto B6265.  In 4.1 miles continue from * above.

AGM Meet  –  Ceilidh in Littlethorpe Village Hall on Saturday evening.     AGM at 4pm on Sunday in Littlethorpe Village Hall followed by American tea (bring food to pool) and an evening ceilidh.   Room available on site for daytime / evening activities.  Access to WC and shower on site.

From A629, take A635 West signposted Holmfirth.  In approx. 1 mile turn Right onto Marsh Lane.  Site on left in 0.5mile

Ceilidhs in local hall on Sat and Sun evenings.   A social evening may be held on Monday dependent on numbers.

Shirecroft Farm, 34 Station Road, Epworth. DN9 1JZ    

MR.112/778046   From M180 Junction 2, take A161 south.  At the traffic lights in Epworth turn right.  Site is 0.75 miles on the right.

The annual Epworth Music Day is planned to take place throughout the town on Saturday.   Community Ceilidh run by The Ridings in Imperial Hall, Epworth on Sat eve.

UPDATED DIRECTIONS (6.7.23)

From North, leave A1(M) at Jn 51 (Leaming Bar), and take A684 W towards Bedale and Leyburn.

At next R/A go L on B6285 into Bedale. At central tl. go R onto B6268. In 300m bear L towards Burrill and Thornton Watlass. Continue on that road for about 4km (do not turn off for Burrell), into Thornton Watlass. The farm is on the opposite side of the triangle to where you come in (see below).

From South exit A1(M) at J50 signposted A61 Masham; at roundabout take 2nd exit signposted A6055 Bedale-Masham; in 3 miles approximately at roundabout take 1st exit B6267 Masham; continue approximately 6 miles; turn right B6268 signposted Bedale; within 1.75 miles turn left into road signposted Thornton Watlass (narrow with passing bays), in 0.75 miles keep right at church, turn right before village green, site entrance on right in 50 metres, immediately past village hall.

MR 100/SE707897    From Pickering take A170 west.  In 6 miles * turn north onto unclassified road.  Site on right in 2.5 miles, with access on lane to left of a cafe.  From Thirsk take A170 east (NB. Sutton Bank is prohibited to caravans).  0.75 miles east of Kirkbymoorside continue from * above.

There will be a raffle and charity fundraising activities (cake and book stalls, filled jam jars and sausage sandwiches!) on Sunday morning.  Ceilidhs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings in Village Hall across the road.   Great site to enjoy the North Yorkshire countryside.

 

Thursday 21 Sept – Monday 25 Sept.     Beech Tree Farm,  Sutton on the Forest  (4 nights)

MR 100/595633     Postcode YO61 1EY.   From the York Ring Road (A1237) take the B1363 (SP Wiggington). 2.5 miles after Wiggington take a Right turn into Goose Lane – the site is 1.2 miles on the left on Carr Lane. Beware using Sat Navs.

Ceilidh on Sat eve in the local hall.  Room avail for activities on site.   Lovely village and Sutton Park in walking distance of the site

Hosting the Yorkshire Region Youth Test w/e on site.

Sykehouse Village Hall, Broad Lane, Sykehouse.  DN14 9AY      Booked 2 Night Meet

MR 111/627166.  From M62 Junction 34, take A19 south towards Doncaster.  At Traffic Lights in Askern turn left and follow signs to Sykehouse.  Site on Left at far end of the village. This is a BOOKED MEET.   Our end of season meet with the hall available throughout the weekend.  Plans for a catered 2 course meal (£25 per head) before the evening Ceilidh on Saturday evening.
