Thursday 12th March – Sunday 15th March   (3 nights)

Hatfield Woodhouse Village Hall,  Watertown Close, Hatfield Woodhouse  DN7 6NF   AGM Meet (Sat at 2.30pm)  

111/677088 From M18 junc 5 take M180 towards Scunthorpe/Grimsby/Airport.  From M180, junc 1, take the A614/A18 exit to Bawtry.  At roundabout take 4th exit onto Tudworth Road/A18.  At Green Tree pub (on right) turn Left onto A614.  In 1 mile turn slight right onto Main Street and in 0.1 mile turn into lane to the village hall watch for RFG signs.                                                AGM & mass ‘take away’ meal before evening ceilidh.   Bring you crafts and musical instruments for sessions in the hall over the weekend.

Best approach from Driffield )otherwise very tight turn).  Leave Driffield on A166 to Garton.  After 2 miles, pass Agri-Weld and 2 red brick houses on the right.  Turn Right up concrete drive just before the yellow salt bin and opposite the aga-green coloured cottage.  Watch for RFG / FDSG signs.

VE Celebration bring and share tea on Saturday.  Evening ceilidhs on Saturday and Sunday evenings.   ‘Granary’ on site for social gatherings. 

New site for The Ridings  –  great location for walking on the wolds and visiting historic houses.

100/536774.     Byland Road, Coxwold, York, YO61 4BB. 5 nights.      40th Birthday Celebration Meet for The Ridings.   From A19 travelling south turn left towards Coxwold/Shandyhall. From A19 travelling north turn right towards Coxwold/Ampleforth. Site on eastern side of village. 1st half of Bank Holiday to back meets. (moving to Thornton Watlass on Tuesday for Part 2).  Socials/Ceilidhs with live music in Hall on site.  Birthday, bring and share tea in hall on Saturday.   Communal BBQ on Sunday prior to ceilidh.

MR 99/235853   Postcode HG4 4AH.  5 nights (Tues–Sun)   From A1 take B6267 signposted Masham, in 6 miles turn right onto B6268 to Bedale.  In 1.75 miles turn left onto road signposted Thornton Watlass.  In 0.75 miles keep right at church and turn right before village green.  Site entrance on right, 50 yards after village hall.  Evening socials / ceilidhs to take place in village hall or pub room which are both adjacent to the site.

 

Thursday 18th June – Monday 22nd June   (4 nights)  Shirecroft Farm, 34 Station Road, Epworth. DN9 1JZ  

MR.112/778046   From M180 Junction 2, take A161 south.  At the traffic lights in Epworth turn right.  Site is 0.75 miles on the right.   Epworth Music Day on Saturday and to include The Ridings running a Community Ceilidh in Imperial Hall on Saturday evening.

From A629 Keighley to Skipton road, turn Left  signposted Cononley.  150yds after level crossing turn sharp Right signposted Moorfoot Lane.  Site 100m on Left over railway bridge.   Social in Cononley Village Institute Hall on Friday evening and Ceilidh on Saturday evening with live music.  Good walking area and close to Skipton.  Everyone welcome.

MR 100/SE707897    From Pickering take A170 west.  In 6 miles * turn north onto unclassified road.  Site on right in 2.5 miles, with access on lane to left of a cafe.  From Thirsk take A170 east (NB. Sutton Bank is prohibited to caravans).  0.75 miles east of Kirkbymoorside continue from * above.  Annual Bring & Buy sale on Sunday.  There will be a raffle, White Elephant and Book Stalls – donations appreciated.  Ceilidhs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings in Village Hall across the road. 

 

Thursday 10th September – Monday 14th  September   (4 nights)    Wintersett Lakes Caravan Camping Park, Wakefield     

MR 110/380156.      Haw Park Lane, Wintersett, Wakefield, WF4 2EB    From Wakefield A638 Doncaster Road take B6273.  Take 1st Right onto Swine Lane and foll signs to Anglers Country Park. Site on Haw Park Lane to rear of Anglers Retreat Pub.  Watch for RFG signs.

Saturday evening ceilidh in Nostell Village Hall.  Site adjacent to nature reserve.
